This is a letterhead that Daddy used. His World's All-Around Championship Cowboy title was from 1924. He would have been 22 years old. Someone tore off the bottom of this letter - probably to Mom. We lived in Albertville, MN on a farm for a while. I remember the big chicken house burned down in the winter. Also, I would have drowned in the horse trough if the man who worked for my folks hadn't come up from the barn to get something. I remember laying at the bottom of the trough, underwater, looking up at the sky when he pulled me out. I was 2 or 3 years old.
